ABOUT SharedCMO

SharedCMO was founded in the Spring of 2007.  The concept, to offer 'shared' executive level marketing and strategy services to companies, was pretty new at that time.  There were plenty of shared CFO type services supporting small to mid-sized early-stage companies, or shared legal services, but nothing really around the office of the CMO.  Here is the point and purpose – provide experience and executive level support to companies…when they need it.  Does that mean we don’t think you need a full-time Chief Marketing Officer?  Absolutely not.  It means that when your business is facing transformation in any form, you may require outside help.  Can it mean that you may not require a full-time CMO?  Yes.  The SharedCMO network works because, with all of the experience and resources at our finger tips, assessing and addressing situations head on is quicker and more efficient.  We can pair the right talent and experience with your current team, as well, to offer expanded thinking and optimized results.

 

Our motto is that “we can SEE the distance, and then GO the distance.”  Simply put, help you and your team define a winning strategy and plan and then a very well-defined “To-Do” list.  The engagements are days, weeks, or months with periodic follow ups.  We are prepared to help you with a growth strategy, culture, customer focus & experiences, product definition, partner channels & execution  - all of this and more through our own well-vetted (meaning we know them REALLY well from experience) vendor/partners.  If we don’t have the expertise, we will find it and make solid recommendations.
